AB Italia was responsible for the entire interior design of a historic hotel in the capital, located in a 19th century building and a symbol of the Italian Dolce Vita of the 1960s, when Rome was a crossroads for Hollywood stars and internationally well-known celebrities, inspired by the dictates of Art Deco in its extreme refinement.
Each element has the importance of a unique and precious piece; each time it is an artistic creation in itself and every room has become so unique and customized. The exclusivity of the hotel, the luxury of the rooms and suites are recognizable in the spaciousness of the rooms and the meticulous attention to detail, in the selected materials and precious fabrics, in the most refined comforts and in the excellence of the hospitality.
Passionate and cultured stylistic and architectural research has resulted in a balanced fusion of cosiness and elegance. The Art Deco inspiration can be found in everything, but especially in the stone and parquet floors, the inlaid marbles, the decorated and inlaid furniture pieces with rare and precious woods such as mahogany, aged mahogany, rosewood and Macassar ebony, often with a polished finish and enriched with silver and mother-of-pearl details.
The end result presents the image of rooms with furniture that is perfectly matched to the functionality of the most innovative technology. A magnificent dome in the hotel lobby is also designed to illuminate the space below, while allowing views of the famous skyline of the Eternal City.
