Sankt Moritz
MOUNTAIN CHALET
This elegant chalet, made entirely of wood and stone, overlooks the enchanting Swiss mountain landscape and respectfully blends into it.
Arranged on two floors, with a mezzanine area overlooking the living area, the structure of the home sees a continuous, deliberate pairing of wood and glass, to give the ambience a feeling of solidity and lightness at the same time, but also to encourage a continuous dialogue with the landscape outside.
Stone and wood alternate in the exterior and interior cladding of the spacious residence. The most fascinating detail of the interior space is the huge fireplace that characterizes the entire living area and consequently also becomes the real heart of the whole house. The big windows are also impressive, allowing the eye to sweep over the fascinating surrounding landscape.
Alongside the imposing fireplace, another distinctive feature of the residence is the inclusion of unusual and surprising furnishing objects, such as the sophisticated sculpture-chandelier and other elements that make the room intimate but also highly characterised.
The images illustrating just a few of the phases of the long and meticulous shipbuilding work bear witness to the care and attention paid to the construction, the very high value of the workmanship and the excellence of the craftsmanship of the workers and professionals involved in the realization of even the smallest details.
