A private residence in one of the most beautiful parts of the Caribbean, with coral reefs, white beaches, turquoise sea, where you can live in the exclusivity of beauty, but in contact with the lush and unspoilt nature of the place. At the entrance you are greeted by a dramatic staircase whose steps are covered with a green carpet with borders decorated with French patterns.
The staircase winds between two brass balustrades with green malachite handrails, guarded by two lion-shaped marble sculptures with gilded details. The first flight of steps leads to a large marble bas-relief on a malachite background.
Malachite is also used for the inlays on the marble floors, which are flanked by inserts of yellow Siena marble to bring to mind the colour of gold, and in the columns that complete the boiserie covering of the walls. Ceilings and boiserie are also embellished with gilded relief decorations.
The grand entrance in wrought iron, brass and crystal is deliberately inspired by the entrance to Buckingham Palace in London. The domed ceiling of the staircase taking your upstairs is adorned with frescoes, stained-glass windows and a showy crystal chandelier.
The round TV room is decorated in shades of green and gold, with onyx columns with gilded capitals. The green can also be seen in the boiserie and the large inlaid marble rose window, as well as in the hints of colour that enliven the crystal of the elegant chandelier.
