A sumptuous private residence that in some ways is reminiscent of the splendour and richness of the halls of Versailles. The walls of the interior spaces are almost entirely covered with boiserie. It is the rich woodwork that is one of the most luxurious features of this grand residence.
In the various rooms we find boiserie enriched with carvings, inlays, gold decorations, marble or precious fabric inserts, friezes, sculptures and decorations. Others are completely in marble. The huge indoor swimming pool has entirely mosaic-covered sides and bottom and is lit by a colourfull backlit art glass ceiling. The walls of the swimming pool are made of marble and are surrounded by columns and sculptures that seem to overlook the blue colour of the water.
The ceilings of other living spaces are instead frescoed, richly decorated or characterized by bright stained-glass windows, often illuminated and enhanced by impressive crystal chandeliers. The dining room with its elaborately inlaid floors, whose colour combinations have been particularly studied and sought after, and the master bedroom with its parquet floor characterized by a meticulous inlay of precious woods, are particularly impressive. Certain parts of the ceilings and walls have been sculpted for an additional touch of opulence.
