CASTLE – PRIVATE RESIDENCE
Between tradition and innovation, a fully renovated medieval castle. Situated in a charming Scottish setting and surrounded by spectacular scenery, this former home has been fixed up to welcome residents and guests to an atmosphere of legendary charm.
It was designed to serve as a backdrop for luxurious moments. Renovation of the building included bringing in authentic antique pieces, witnesses of a past with evocations still alive in the present.
Attention to the smallest details and the materials selected during the long restoration work, especially stone and marble skillfully combined, were the guidelines by which the work was completed.
The warmth of the wood, with which the entirely hand-carved columns were made, and the pickled chestnut false ceilings, are just some of the distinguishing features that characterize the way the rooms look.
Of great importance, as well as having a great visual impact, is the glass ceiling in coloured mosaic and lead crystal, which illuminates and at the same time enhances and emphasizes the living area with its striking fireplace.
