PRIVATE RESIDENCE

The immediate sensation is that of entering an eighteenth-century French palace, which can be experienced and admired in every corner and every detail. A large double-height living room welcomes and accommodates with candour and warmth at the same time, thanks to the refined white lacquered boiserie, enriched with green fabric inserts and elegant golden details. Visually important is the white vaulted ceiling, decorated and featuring elaborate sculptural parts.

The large crystal chandelier is impressive and spectacular. A deliberately more intimate and reserved corner is furnished with armchairs and a wall-mounted TV, while the view from the upper floor features a brass and wrought iron balustrade covered in gold leaf, with floral decorations.

Brass, wrought iron and floral decorations can also be found in the balustrade that accompanies the winding staircase leading to the basement, where white and gold tones play with the bright colours of the inlaid marble and the navy blue that characterizes the billiard table and the light points that illuminate it.

Navy blue is also the leitmotif of the furnishings and accessories in the small living rooms connected to the bedrooms, separated by partitions made of white wooden boiserie enriched with friezes and decorations, designed to the client’s specifications.

Also at the client’s request, the decoration reproducing a series of human figures inspired by a marble bas-relief from Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo, on Lake Como, Italy, which characterizes the boiserie-bookcase in the home office, where it is also possible to admire the precious inlay in different woods on the floor. Inlaid marble and decorative doors characterize the bright corridors of the residence.
